Wow, Virtù has turned out to be a rather pleasant surprise on many levels!
As a cyclist, I like the fact you can rent a suitable mount to pedal off the calories you’ve acquired a mere 20 feet away while seated at one of the courtyard tables at the Bespoke Inn.
…and the calories? Oh yes, the calories!
We’ve been experiencing so-called “chamber of commerce”-style weather of late, and the thought of an early-afternoon brunch savoring Chef Osso’s rather extraordinary efforts last week appealed to both of us, so off we went.
Grilled octopus, country bread French toast, mortadella benedict, plus a delicate pinot and a crisp mimosa – one could get used to this stuff, no?
We’ve now dined at Virtù on several occasions, so I can safely say this chef/owner knows what he’s doing at the stove. We have no complaints with anything that’s come from the kitchen, but we do have an issue with the uneven service we’ve experienced more than once. With that much care being invested in the back of the house, why not put a tad more effort is finding the best-of-the-best for the front of the house?
Honest. [please improve your] Craft. Indeed.
